Opal Silver

there was the original red, blue [green in japan] then they made yellow as a spin off from red and blue. then there was silver and gold, then crystal, a spin off from those two. then there was saphire and ruby, with the spin off called emrald. all the spin offs are just like the old game but with a twist that makes it just alil more fun and with more features. now theres pearl and diamond. dont you think they will make another game as a spin off sort of game from these two? and unless youve been under a rock =] you realise all the games are named after some sort of jem [or color, refering to the original three] so my question is, do you think they will make a sucessor to diamond and pearl and what do you think it will be called? i mean, they have got to be running out of gems…unless its like, topez or something ahah. and while im on the topic, what about yellow? they remade red into fire red and blue/green into leaf green maybe a new yellow game awaits? wht you think bout that?

i just did some research, it seems like they MIGHT remake silver and gold with Gratini as the mascot, this way you can get the silver and gold pokemon in the new ds games because you cant transfer from gold and silver onto pearl…etc. like you can with leafgreen and firered. but it seems that its a possibility that Gratini will be the mascot because of the following text i read:

"Giratini sounds like Giraso which is “an opal that reflects light in a bright luminous glow”. Like Ruby, Sapphire, Emerald, Pearl, and Diamond, Opal is a Gemstone. Coincidence, I think not. That is definitely a sign that Nintendo plans to make another fourth generation game."

Well I can guarentee [AND HOPE] that there will be a spin off of D/P…Along with Mario Bros. and The Legend of Zelda, Pokemon is in the top 3 for their most popular games…furthermore meaning more money for them, which sadly is what the world has come to….anyways…I have heard many times and seen on many forums that a lot of people think that Giratina will be the Palkia or Dialga for the next game…and also that the game will be called Opal…although Giratina lacks a gem on its body, no other legendary except for Cressiala has one [crescent on head] I do hope that they will come out with a spin off that will include a legit way to get Darkrai [maybe, just ideas]

HOWEVER
I do not think there will be a spin off of Fire Red and Leaf Green because they were Spin offs of R/B/Y… But you never know because a lot of people enjoyed having a Pikachu follow you around, so they may come out with one for the DS that would take full advantage of the touch screen

WHAT I DO KNOW
Nintendo/Gamefreak are currently working on two games
Pokemon Ranger Batonage and Pokemon Mystery Dungeon Time and Darkness…With Ranger already released in JP, now they need to do a US version…then when Dungeon is released in JP, they need to do a US version of that too…
I have a feeling that we will see a spin off about 5 months after Giratina and the Bouqet of the Sky [Pokemon Movie 11] is released…and I mean the US premiere..

but that is my opinion

Is there really going to be a pokemon opal? well I know there probably is because all pokemon games have a sequal… e.g….
silver/gold-crystal
saphire/ruby-emerald
diamond/pearl-???

There is going to be Pokemon Platinum. It just came out in Japan and coming here soon.
